Ubuntu Bush House is 428 km from O.R. Tambo Int. Airport with a total duration of approximately 5 hours. If you do not feel like driving all the way to Marloth Park, you can also take a domestic fight to Kruger Mpumalanga Int. Airport. There are various airlines operating several times a day at Kruger Int. Airport. You can book your flight online and depending on the season, tickets are available from ZAR 1600,00 for a return ticket. At the airport, you can rent a car at the same rental companies as at O.R. Tambo Int. Airport. It will take you less than 1½ hours to drive to Marloth Park.
From Johannesburg
From the airport first follow the R21. After 5 km take the ramp to the N12. Continue on N12 for 113 km towards Witbank / Middelburg. At Witbank keep right onto the N4 direction Middelburg / Lydenburg. After a few km you will pass Middelburg toll Plaza. Stay on the N4 until 7 km past Machadodorp toll Plaza. Here you can continue on the N4 to Waterval Boven / Beneden or turn left towards Lydenburg via the N4/R36. The 2 roads join again after 60 km at Montrose. Continue east on the N4 through Nelspruit. Before you reach Malelane you will pass Nkomazi toll Plaza. Follow the N4 through Malelane and 10 km after Hectorspruit leave the N4 and turn left towards Marloth Park. A 5 km stretch of gravel road will lead you to the entrance of Marloth Park. In Marloth Park, continue on Elephant avenue (asphalt) for 6.5 kilometers. Turn left into Sekelbos, after 500 m take the 1st right (Geelslang). Take the 1st road right after 300 m (Swartwitpens). After 500 m take the 2nd road on the left. You are now on Wielewaal Avenue. The entrance of Ubuntu Bush House is situated on the right after 300 m, or the 2nd path right after Koperkapel at No. 2463. Drive up the path and after 50 meters you will find the house straight in front of you.
From Kruger Mpumalanga Int. Airport
Leave the parking lot of the rental company and turn left at the roundabout. After 1.5 kilometers turn left at the T-junction onto the R538. Continue on the N538 for 11 km. Note, 500 m before you turn left at the T-junction onto the N4, you will reach a large intersection where you MUST stop. Just before Malelane you will pass Nkomazi toll Plaza.
From here follow the directions as described from Johannesburg.
